Poodle Day 2011

Poodle Day is an annual event in Carmel.

Everyone there knows that we are coming so they put up flags.

It starts with a big Poodle Parade and everyone takes pictures

It’s also a family reunion for Highfalutin Poodles like me.
My brother Peyton was there.

He has a mohawk too.

After the parade 300 poodles went to the beach

At first I didn’t know what to expect.

It was so exciting!

This is my friend Fanny, relaxing in the sand.

I made a lot of new friends

And we partied at the hotel!

This poodle is weird.

On the last day, we went back to the beach again to say goodbye.
I was sad to leave.

Next year I hope my sisters come too.

I move around a lot so it’s a good thing they have the best cameras.

We went for a long walk .

and then we went swimming.

But I didn’t because I’ve never been swimming before. So I just watched.

For a while, I have had a ugly cyst on my leg.

The vet said we had to keep an eye on it. Eventually she said that I had to have an operation to have it removed.
